Limit Analysis

Limit analysis provides an efficient means of assessing the bearing capacity of geostructures directly without the need for exhaustive load-displacement analysis.

 

Mesh Adaptivity

All analyses come with the option of using automatic adaptive mesh refinement. This allows for a high degree of accuracy at a moderate computational effort.

 

Strength Reduction

Strength reduction analysis involves a reduction of the material parameters until failure occurs. The resulting reduction factor may be interpreted as the factor of safety.

 

Initial Stress Analysis

Geostatic stresses are determined in an efficient and rigorous manner using this analysis which is unique to OptumG2.

 

Staged Construction
