10th June 2005, Chennai India: Ram Caddsys Pvt Ltd has partnered with G.C. Software, France to distribute their A single and global software (JOVE) for all the mechanical design of overhead lines (Transmission and Distribution)

The software JOVE is specialised in overhead transmission and distribution lines mechanical design. It allows the user, starting from data on line's topography and on available material for building it, to choose the best possible places for all supports and to choose the necessary material (from conductors to foundations), checking for the respect of all conditions on clearances and on stress for conductors, insulator strings and supports (each bar of each tower may be tested in a few seconds for transmission lines), at any possible climatic condition. A low voltage network module facilitate the preparation on a map of necessary distribution lines for a new building area or a newly electrified village.
